First of all, throughout the reading we can realize that Victor is described as someone innocent and curious (just like a child). Instead, isabel demonstrates beauty and perfection. Therefore, I do not think that both personalities complement each other to form something much better since one is curious and the other is the conception of beauty.

Henry Clerval was Victor's childhood friend. However, he met him thanks to one of his father's friends. On the other hand, Victor describes him as a unique, talented, noble, generous and kind child, he also likes romance chivalry books.
Victor felt very good with his parents about how he lived his childhood.
Victor says that the reason why he has this violent temper is because of the little faith they have had in him, everything they have told him and because he wants to know the answers to everything. Therefore, this frustration has raised him to this.

Through the first and second chapter, we have seen how Victor is the energetic and curious children, while Elizabeth, is the perfect example of beauty, manners, and calmness. It never says they complement well, but as the readers, it is possible to see the conection between their behaviour and their relation, which indeed, complement themselves.
Later in the life of Frankenstein family, William was born. It is described as "the most beautiful little fellow in the world". According to the text, William is one of the keys for the family's love.
Henry Clerval was first introduced in the first chapter, however, it is constantly appearing in this one. Henry Clerval was Victor's childhood friend. He met him through one of his father's friend. Since an infant, Victor describes Henry as "a boy of singular talent and fancy". All his life, Henry has liked chivalry and romance books. Victor describes him as having a noble spirit, humble, generous, kind, and passionate.

His vehement passions refers to him, wanting to know the answers for everything. Even heaven and hell. The origin of his unsuccessful career, starts from his search to become a god. Even his teachers and parents (specially his father), told him he was wrong following the steps of a hated "scientist".
