He's saying he is from Switzerland, becouse Geneves is a city fromo this contry.
2. Describe the history of the relationship of Victor’s parents and his family history.
Victor father was a very important and rich person. He had a great relationship with Beaufort, a merchant who fell into poverty. So, Victor’s father help him, paying his debts. One day, Beaufort get very sick, incapable of doing anything. His daughter, Caroline, take care of him until the 10th month, when Beaufort died in her armas, she was devastate. When Victor’s father entered "He came like a protecting spirit to the poor girl". After 2 years, they get married.
3. What’s the story of how Elizabeth joined the Frankenstein family?
Victor’s aunt married an Italian men. They went to Italia and lately she died. Her husband write a letter to Victor’s father, requesting him to take care of her daughter Elizabeth (the only child of his deceased sister). So Victor’s father, immediately, went to Italy, and Elizabeth became part of the family, and everyone adore her.

"I have often heard my mother say, that she was at that time the most beautiful child she had ever seen". Caroline,
Victor’s mother, start consider Elizabeth as Victor future wife. But it didn't happen "Elizabeth Lavenza became my playfellow, and, as we grew older, my friend".

They met Beafourt, a certainly poor individual who has had a horrendous life. They both tried to help him as a pasionate demonstration of affection for him. However, his health decline rapidly. Finally, Alphonse took Caroline to his hometown to get married. Closing Beafourt chapter of their life.
Elizabeth is firmly related to the Frankestein family due to the fact that his mother passed away several years ago when Victor´s childhood was in his prime.

By saying he is a Genevese, he's is basically saying he was born in Geneva, Switzerland. There are also some fragments in the book, where Shelley names geographical landmarks, such as the Alps, Montblanc, etc.

They accepted, and now Elizabeth is both "maid" of Frankenstein family, daughter of Alphonse and Caroline, and, of course, Victor's "stepsister", that will later become something more...
