Hello, and welcome to our forum! For your comment, think in the principal character actions and write about how could we identify, through the tale, the tension between madness and good sense (sanity).
Then, watch the next episode of The Simpsons and answer: What do you think about The Simpsons reappropriation and reinterpretation of the tale?

And finally, how was your reading experience?
1.In the story I can see the psychological problems raised, as the character falls into madness and despair fighting with him and that in the end, he was losing the fight.
2.Liza is going through a moment of depression for not feeling enough also comparing herself to Alison which she feels is much better than her, that causes a lack of self-esteem and increased insecurities thus falling into an inner void.

1. The book shows that how the person thinks he is not crazy meanwhile the other persons thinks that is crazy, making him doubt 2. In the chapter it shows how Lisa feels sad and inferior for the reason that Allison was better than Lisa in a lot of aspects 3. In some parts i was confused because the language was difficult sometimes, but reading the book was good
1) From the character's actions we can identify that he had a big problem because everyone thought he was crazy but on the contrary he thought he was fine so he was constantly doubting.
2) In the episode we can see that Lisa feels bad, disappointed, inferior and even excluded because Allison was better than her in things that she was good and in many other aspects, in my opinion it is a good interpretation of the story by the Simpsons because it is something similar to what happened to the main character of the story because when he saw that everybody saw him as a crazy person he felt bad, inferior, confused, etc.
3) My experience with this reading was a little confusing because in certain parts of the text I was confused because of some words, however this is good because it forces me to investigate its meaning and that helps me to expand my vocabulary, I also liked it because it makes you interested to know what is going to happen and it doesn't bore you.
Tell-Tale Heart is one of Edgar Allan Poe's most famous stories about how guilt can consume people to the point of insanity. In this case, the man who murdered his wife manifested it by hearing a heart inside the walls of his house, like Lisa in the episode of The Simpsons after breaking the diorama of her new partner. It is incredible how the brain of the human being can be his best ally or his worst enemy.

(Soy mariale) No se porque dice Samii.
1. I liked the story because it was showing the character's thinking since the character thought he was crazy, so he was showing how he could become insane.
2. I think Lisa feels so useless and unmotivated because Allison is much better than her and that is something that can hurt her because when you feel good about something and then someone else comes along and it is better that you feel like BRUH. . .
3. I like the stories of the writer that I just read because with his texts you can feel represented, I can also understand the texts in a simple way because of the language he uses
I liked the story because it was basically showing the character's thinking, since the character thought he was crazy, so he was showing how he could become insane.
Lisa felt too inferior to Allison, because Allison was better than her in many things, so Lisa always felt excluded or left out.
I liked the story because (I have always liked the stories of Edgar Allan Poe), because he knows very well how to express the feelings and situations of the characters, so that one puts oneself in the shoes of the character and can understand him.
I liked this story and I found it interesting since the story presents an anonymous narrator obsessed with the sick eye that he calls "vulture eye" of an old man with whom he lives. He finally decides to kill him. The crime is carefully studied and, after being perpetrated, the body is torn to pieces and hidden under the floorboards of the house. and the tension is so great that when the police go to this man's house he has so much tension and guilt that he later confesses everything and that the policemen were standing by the scene of the crime
1: reading the text i understand that the character have a internal conflict trying to understand if he was crazy or not because everyone think that he was going crazy while he thinks he was not 2: Watching the episode i can infer that lisa feel so useless and with out proposite because allison was better than her and that's something that hurt because when you feel good in something and then other one come and is better than you it hurt 3: My experience reading was natural i understand the whole text but make me ask when do we go crazy so we are not able to figure out if we are ok or if we are not
1. Ana, you are right, he was trying to act "normal", with all the 5 senses, but in his inner conversations we could identify some actitudes that are related with madness. All the tale takes its structure in this kind of tension between madness and good sense!
2. Totally agree with you! Lisa is freaking out because of Allison. She is so talented and this situation affects Lisa individual image: another girl could be compare with her! And in this context, is possible to identify a reappropiation of the tension between madness and good sense :)
1.The main character of the text or of the person who was going to narrate it before telling it acted nervously, heard his surroundings and in the story he was telling he affirmed that people thought he was crazy
2. The way the episode interprets is in a way in which Lisa begins to feel inferior or less important thanks to allison who is a successful student and also a musician, apart from the other scene focused on the sale of sugar from Homer.
3. my experience reading the story of Edgar Allan Poe was the truth a bit confusing since it is a bit difficult to understand the narration but at the same time it is entertaining and also learning to understand more the English language.
