Farenheit 451, written by Ray Bradbury is "a book of warning. It is a reminder that what we have is valuable, and that sometimes we take what we value for granted." (Gaiman, 2013, p. 7). Writing is the possibility to imagine and create new worlds by using language, in this specualtive fiction "Ray Bradbury was writing about his present, which is our past. He was warning us about things; some of those things are obvious, and some of them, half a century later, are harder to see." (Gaiman, 2013, p. 8).

I think the story tell us about a possible world without books, in which people can not read or they will be punished with something very serious, it also tries to tell us how injustice can reach such a high level of ignorance. From my point of view, book are very important for education and to learn many things and have general culture, in my case i do not read much but I know thath books are very important for the development of our lives, and to be able to know a lot in such a way if thes disappear, we would live in a very monotonous world, giving way to a place without creativity or thoughts of our own.
